WANTED:
New Editor for
Woodie Times

The National Woodie Club is seeking an editor for its Woodie Times magazine. As you know, our current and highly regarded editor is retiring in the fall of this year. We are looking for another individual who is highly self-directed yet responsive to our small, all-volunteer Board and officers.

The successful candidate must be experienced in current publication layout software such as In-Design. S/he must also be prepared to transfer published, printed material to Woodie Club digital media, including website updates.

Demonstrated ability to meet publication deadlines is important.

The ideal candidate, in addition to possessing superior publishing, editing, and writing skills, should demonstrate an abiding interest in the collector car hobby preferably (although not necessarily) within the niche occupied by woodies.

Additional information including detailed job description can be made available to candidates requesting same.

Resumes – printed or digital – may be submitted to the Editor Replacement Committee Chair, Jack Boyle at 14123 West 48th Street, Shawnee, KS 66216 or jackcboyle@gmail.com.

"The National Woodie Club exists to promote interest in woodies; to educate owners and the public on their history, beauty, usefulness and uniqueness; and to provide an association through which woodie owners and enthusiasts may exchange information on history, building, restoration or modification techniques and share experiences. The woodie is a special kind of car, which deserves special recognition. The National Woodie Club will work toward that goal."
