Online Changes Coming

Wayne Yada  | Published on 9/10/2018

For many months we’ve been working on making some significant improvements to our online presence and we are coming close to “pulling the trigger” on the new system within the next 30 days or so. During the transition, it is possible that our website: www.nationalwoodieclub.com will actually be down for up to 24 hours. Don’t panic if you see that happen. This will continue to be our website address.

In addition to an all-new face to our website, this new system will offer our members much more – most of which we will detail in future communications. One of the main features will include adding/renewing memberships online EASILY. Members will also be able to edit/update their own contact/mailing information, as well as their woodie information. It will also include an online version of our current printed directory. Much of this will also be available from a smartphone app as well as conventional website link. For those not real “tech-savvy,” free telephone support will be provided to all members.

Once we make the changeover, every member with a working email address will be sent a welcome email from the site, which will include a username and temporary password. Watch for it.

Although we will continue making “snail mail” communications/renewals available to those who want/need it, our members will be losing out on considerable access and benefits if they don’t utilize the online/email access. Please check the recent NWC printed directory and see if your email address is correct. If it is, you need to do nothing other than watch for your welcome letter. If it is NOT accurate or not there, PLEASE forward it to me at your earliest convenience: wayne@yadafamily.com. Also, be sure that when you do get your welcome letter and login to the new site, that you DO accept the privacy and email opt-in as presented. You may opt-out at any time in the future if you feel it is warranted. Please understand that your club will not share any personal information with anyone and will only be used for NWC and woodie owner-related communications.

Thanks for your understanding and patience as we work our way into this new adventure.

Regards,

Wayne Yada, NWC Vice President

P.S. Just for the record, although we may opt to publish some/all issues of the Woodie Times online in the future, there are no plans to stop producing and mailing the Woodie Times in its printed format.
